He is uniquely qualified to help ‘keep the bad guys out.’ When he’s not securing homes and offices, you can find James sailing, flying, playing chess and traveling with his family. Carlyon “Carl” Christian – Atlanta Business Owner
Carlyon Christian is a first-generation immigrant, father of 3, and serial entrepreneur. Born in the tiny Caribbean Island of Dominica, he grew up with dreams of being his own boss and accomplishing the American dream. At the age of 20, he immigrated to the United States where he studied Computer Science at Georgia State University.
While in college he started his first business Tradestage which was in essence an Ebay for college students, allowing students to buy and sell textbooks among themselves without the bookstore’s markup. Still in college, he also went on to start K-3 Technologies an internet marketing company whose clientele ranges from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies all across the United States.
In 2013, he and his wife Kristianna faced a new challenge when their son was born with a number of allergies. Having to deal with these allergies showed him how harsh chemicals can have a negative impact on our health. Recognizing that other parents likely faced similar issues, he and his wife launched Green Maids, an Atlanta-based home cleaning service.
In a few short years, Green Maids grew to become Atlanta’s largest cleaning service, employing over 40 people. In his spare time, Carlyon enjoys exercising and traveling with his family while shooting amateur drone videos of his experiences. He also has a passion for aviation and frequents airshows and spends time flying and building a variety of radio-controlled aircraft.
